For 3D character and environment for animation module, we need to we need to do research about our topic and start doing sketches for our character design. Besides that, for interactive design for web technology, we need to sketch our layout for our website that we need to make for the final task.

Individual Design Project: Week 4

For this week, we made a trip to Mantin to get an idea on our big project because our big project is about promoting Mantin. So we need to choose a topic that we want to promote about Mantin. We need to take lots of picture there as a refference and proof of our project.

For principles of marketing, we need to pick the topic that we want to promote about Mantin and create a trademark for it.

Individual Design Project: Week 3

For this week, we nee to analyze 5 website according to the multimedia design principles for interactive design for web technology. For 3D character and environment for animation module, we need to create an infographic about the short film that we analyze last week. For interactive design for game and web application, we need to do a research about scratch and do experiment on how to use the software.

Individual Design Project: Week 2

For this week, we need to analyze 5 games for Interactive design for game and web application module. For 3D character and environment for animation, we need to find a 3D short film and analyze them. This was easy for me because i need to write a summary for the film and what are the characteristic of the film. For Interactive design for web technology, we were ask to analyze a website by following the multimedia design principles.

Interactive Design for Web Technology: Website Process (Background)

For the background of my website, I decided on using the map of Mantin which lead to the Mantin wet market. To do this, I need to take the image of the map and trace it by changing the design of the map in an Illustrator software.

I change the road with different types of lines to show the difference between them.

Last, I need to apply the label of the place.

Interactive Design for Web Technology: Website Process

We were ask to make a website of our own which is related to the research that we done. For my topic, I choose industrial system which focus on the Mantin wet market.

Interactive Design for Web Technology: Web Experience & Web Interaction

USER EXPERIENCE
User experience (UX) is the process of enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction between the user and the product. UX focuses on having a deep understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations.

At the core of UX is ensuring that users find value in what you are providing to them.  Peter Morville represents this diagram:

He notes that, in order for there to be a meaningful and valuable user experience, information must be:
  • Useful: Your content should be original and fulfill a need
  • Usable: Site must be easy to use
  • Desirable: Image, identity, brand, and other design elements are used to evoke emotion and appreciation
  • Findable: Content needs to be navigable and locatable onsite and offsite
  • Accessible: Content needs to be accessible to people with disabilities
  • Credible: Users must trust and believe what you tell them

USER INTERACTION
Interaction design defines the structure and behaviors of interactive products and services, and user interactions with those products and services. Good interaction design effectively communicates a system’s interactivity and functionality, defines behaviors that communicate a system’s responses to user interactions, reveals both simple and complex workflows, informs users about system state changes, and prevents user error.

Principle of Marketing: Individual Logo

This is the final look for my logo about my topic on what i'm promoting about Mantin. The reason i choose the name ManT Market is because a long time ago, Mantin is a tin mine. From there, I use the name and simplify it. For the design, I choose the image of a fish to represent wet market.
This is the colour experiment of my logo. This is to gain versatile in the logo. On creating this logo, I have follow the 5 principle of effective logo design which is simple, memorable, versatile, enduring and appropriate.

Principle of Marketing: Group Project (Logo)

We were asked to make a logo for our group project.

A Logo is very important for a company to get recognition from the audience. It let the audience know where the product is from and what the company is about. On creating a logo, a logo must me simple, memorable, enduring, versatile and appropriate.

This is our group logo:

The name Lifian is a word from an old English language. The meaning of Lifian is live. The reason we choose this name is because all of our topic is about live. For this logo, we design it based on the street view of Mantin town.

Principle of Marketing: Project Overview

We were ask to pick a spot for our exhibition booth. The booth that i'm planning to make is a game booth. This is the place that I choose. The reason I choose this spot is because it has dim light which is suitable for a game booth and also the place is suitable for me to put my sketches and info about my game.

Principle of Marketing : Individual Logo (Process)

We were ask to make a logo for our own topic. My topic is Industrial System which is focus on wet market. I need to make a logo which is suitable with the topic and the logo must follow the principle of effective logo design

This is the process of making my logo.

For my logo, I use the image of a fish because when we talk about wet market, the first thing in mind are fish.

Then I type in the logo title and some effect.

The reason I choose the font and the colour black and white is because to represent old.

Principle of Marketing: Target Audience

target audience is the person or group of people which a massage intended to reach or convey. In other words, it is important for a company to know who will be buying their product. This audience is the person or group of people the company is aiming for or trying to reach. When a company knows the target audience, they will shape both the purpose and the physical of the product to match the audience's needs and, sometimes, expectations.

My target audience are the business students of the Lagenda Education group. The reason i choose the business students is because to help the students. For these future businessmen and businesswoman, they could learn how to start and do business or even these guys in the future will help the merchant widen the sells.

Not to be confused with a brand, which identifies a product or family of products. Also called logotype.

Logos are an example of important assets because they hold value, but not in a physical form. In order to create a proper logo, we must follow the 5 principle of effective logo design:
A logo must be simple. A simple logo allows for easy recognition and allows the logo to be versatile and memorable.
A logo must be memorable. An effective logo should be memorable and this is achieved by having a simple yet appropriate logo.
A logo must be enduring. An effective logo should endure the test of time. The logo should be 'future proof', meaning that it should still be effective in 10, 20, 50+ years time
A logo must be versatile. An effective logo should be able to work across a variety of mediums and applications.
A logo must be appropriate. How you position the logo should be appropriate for its intended purpose
