Academic Skill ( group project)

          We were divided  to 3 group, the member of the group is chosen by the lecture. We are required to make a movie based on theme Mantin.

For this task, we went to Mantin and we take a video of the life in Mantin. Mantin is very busy and the are lots of people living in Mantin. From this activity, i get to go to the hindu temple. This was my first time went in a hindu temple. it was very exciting.

Academic Skills

            We are requiring to choose a piece of paper and in each of the paper contain a different question that we must draw something to solve the problem. My question was ‘Why should we not take the exit ’. 

             For this activity, it was very fun and funny because i can draw anything I like in the paper even if it is not logical. It depends on the ideas of the individual. The thing that i draw was things that are non logical such as giants, ufo, ice cream mountain

Reflection:

Writing for Designers (Task 7)

           Form a group of 2, than pick 5 advertisements and try to interpret the advertisement in designer term. For this task, my partner was Jeffry. We pick some of the advertisement from magazines that we bought.

Reflection:

• know more of designer terms
• Learn to work in a group and share our opinion about the advertisement.
• learn how does other people think

Writing for Designers ( Task 6)

               We were ask to choose 5 advertisements and try to explain what I see and what I understand about the advertisement. We need to take the points in the advertisement. Such as the description of the product.

              After I have done the task, i ask Miss Tiffany if what i did was correct but some of it was wrong. So I need to make more because some  that I choose was not an advertisement. 

 

Reflection:

• Know the difference between an advertisement and non-advertisement
• Know what type of information that is suitable in an advertisement

Blog Presentation

       We are require to do a presentation about our blog and what are the activities then we've done in academic skill class. Then at the end of the the presentation, one of the other students must comment on the presentation. The next class of academic skill, each of us must comment on each other presentation.Each of us must give 3 good things and 3 things that we can improve for our friend presentation. 

 

       For me, the best presentation was from Samira. Her voice was very clear and her presentation was good. She know how to attract the audience attention.Plus, she did her presentation with confidence. However, she always use technical words that the audience never heard before.

      At the end of of the class, Miss Nadyra told us the good thing about us and mine was spontaneous. Can easily make up something very quick and can easily accomplish a work in a unique kind of way.

Story Writing (Academic Skills)

Instruction : 
Each of us have to write a word without looking at the words wrote by others. Then, use all the words written to make a story.

1st Round  : Comedy
Words  : perfection, enjoyment, tunnel, foggy, cat, weird, mirror and beach.

2nd Round : Horror
Words  : underwear, bleeding eye zombie, crows, hanging eyeballs, clown, vampire, grave, lady and E.T.

3rd Round : Sad
Words  : money, sleep, cheated, tore, grandmother, break up, hungry, rainbow and failure
