Nowadays, many people develop many type of
products, arts, books and gadgets. All of this comes from the individual
creativity skill. The meaning of creativity is being able to use your
imagination to come up with something different and unique. Creativity can be
having the skills to come up with stories, having the skills to come up with
new methods to do something, or even thinking up a new concept. Creativity
skill can be develop by practicing. In order to be creative, you need
to be able to view things in new ways or from a different perspective. Among
other things, you need to be able to generate new possibilities or new
alternatives. Plagiarism is taking other people’s work and incorporating it
into your own work without acknowledging the original source of your
information or ideas. Examples of other people’s ‘work’ can include anything
taken from Internet sources, the spoken word, graphics, data and written text..
Plagiarism also can be defined as stealing and copying. Even so, plagiarism also
has benefit such as for practicing in drawing arts.
Creative Practice |
Individual creative practice is very important in
this modern era because it is needed in developing skills. In education, individual
creative practice is needed for students in order to have the skill to make new
ideas and improve their ideas. This practice is needed for them for facing the
world of profession. For example, artist need creativity for making new ideas
for their art work. Creative practicing has benefit that can help for the best
of one’s own. Creativity goes way beyond your ability to paint a nice picture
and towards challenging your whole way of thinking about things. Creativity
itself able to evoke emotion, doing things that you like reduces stress and
improves overall well-being.
In addition, creativity can help you build better
relationships. Imagining how things look through another person’s eyes can
enhance your empathy and understanding. And deciding to try a different way of
responding than usual when someone irritates or annoys is a creative way to
avoid difficulties. Creative practicing can also help boost up self-confidence.
They will be able to live up to their full potential and have much less doubt
in their own abilities. For example, showing your work to other people and let them give their comments or opinion on
your work to help you develop even more. Someone who has developed their
creativity through practice and experimentation and training can be a great
asset. To be able to quickly and effortlessly come up with creative
solutions in an instant, will make them highly desirable for nearly any
industry, especially creative industries.
Copying other people’s work is always has been
done. This included the young and old. Everywhere in the world plagiarism
occurs. This happen because everyone has their own attitude and problem. Some
people plagiarize because of their laziness, copy text from journal, books and
internet to make their work with less effort then to using their own ideas.
Some people plagiarize because bad in managing their time. This always happens
to individual who have their schedule full. This type of people will do their
work on the last minute. The feeling for racing with time will lead to
plagiarizing. And some people plagiarize because they have no self-confidence
of their own work so they plagiarize.
Plagiarism |
In academic setting, the risk of getting caught
is on the rise as teachers are learing to access the same resources as
students. If the plagiarism is discovered, the penalties range from academic
probation to complete expulsion with incident marked on one’s permanent record.
Plagiarism in professional world is something harder to detect but the consequences
are more serious. The higher standard for behavior among working adults
condemns the professional plagiarist to public discredit and subsequent
blacklisting. Even if the plagiarism never becomes widely recognized, the act
itself goes against professional courtesy and respect for colleagues. The least
obvious disadvantage of plagiarizing is that it doesn’t cost any creative
effort on the plagiarist. Without the conception and realization of new
thought, progress, both of the individual and the affected society/company,
grinds to a halt.
As conclusion, individual creative practice is
very important to help developing the country in order to gain a better life
for all and this should be practiced often to be expert in it. Without
practice, it will be hard to compete in the world of profession. On the other
hand, plagiarism shouldn’t be practice.
Otherwise without realizing, it will become a habit. It’s better to do yourself
then copying other people’s work.
